Marcus Vick Possible Shooter in Birthday Party Incident

(Newport News, VA)  Marcus Vick, the brother of Eagle quarterback Michael Vick and one time NFL player, has been named as the possible shooter in an incident at Michael's birthday party last week.

The story was reported by Johnny D. and
Bartley Barefoot on 102.1 The Game in Virginia Beach and say that they have unnamed sources that name Marcus as the shooter. Quanis Phillips, Vick's cousin and defendant in his dog fighting trial, was shot in the leg at the quarterback's 30 th birthday party last week and recent reports dispute Vick's attorneys claims that Michael was not present around the time of the shooting.

Apparently, Marcus was involved in a verbal confrontation with Phillips at the party and the encounter
became hostile when Phillips slapped a piece of birthday cake on Michael after Phillips was told to leave the party.

This news comes just days after apparent security camera video shows that Michael and his entourage left the party just minutes before the shooting.

This would not be the first time Marcus Vick has been in trouble with the law as he was arrested in 2008 for drunk driving and was released from Virginia Tech for countless drug and disorderly
conduct charges.
As a part of his court and league ordered probation, Michael and Phillips are not allowed to contact or associate with one another. Neither the NFL nor the Eagles have made any decisions on the Vick's fate and may wait till criminal charges are filed.
