Clippers Sign A Trio Of Their Own

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Its not LeBron, D-Wade and Bosh but the LA Clippers did sign a trio of free agents this weeks to help retool their lineup. The team has agreed to terms with forwards Brian Book and Ryan Gomes and picked up point guard Randy Foye to slide into the slot left by departing guard Steve Blake.

The monetary details have yet to be announced but Cook will most likely make the mid-level exception salary.

Foye spent last season with the Washington Wizards and the four-year pro averaged 10.1 points, 3.3 assists and 1.9 rebounds. Gomes played last season with the Timberwolves and averaged 10.9 points and 4.6 rebounds. The T-Wolves traded him to Portland on draft day but was released by the team before a press conference was scheduled.

The Clippers will look to fill sports lost when Travis Outlaw and Drew Gooden signed with new clubs. Look for them to look for either a PF or PF/C combo player to bolster their low-post game.

These moves were made quickly after LeBron James made his much anticipated move to the Miami Heat and the Clippers still have a chance to sign 2-3 more mid-level free agents.
