BLOCKBUSTER NEWS: THE SIXERS ARE RETARTED!!!!
In the midst of the legitimate trades leading up to todays NBA trade deadline the Sixer ditched some dead weight for someother dead weight making a move to the Milwaukee Bucks for Francisco Elson and Jodie Meeks. The Sixers will send Primoz Brezec and Royal Ivey to Milwaukee and there could be a possible second round pick involved. This isnt really the blockbuster trade the Sixers were looking for but it does shed some useless weight for people that might actually see time on the court. Meeks was the 41 selection of the Bucks in the 2009 draft out of Kentucky. The 6-4 guard is averaging 4.1 points in his 11 minutes a game.
Francisco Elson is a 7-0 backup center in his sixth year in the league.
This isnt a terrible move cause it does give the team another young guard and ditches players that wouldnt be in the lineup next year but it really dosent have the punch that most fans were looking for before the trade deadline. It most likley the team will dump the Elson contract to free up room.
