Iggy Overrated?.... Dare I say it

Overrated is such a harsh word. It is a basis of debate and mostly decided upon personal feelings. People in the media and fans constantly call Andre Iguodala overrated due to his inconsistent play on the court and the fact that he has never really lived up to the financial compensation that the Philadelphia 76ers have bestowed on him. Most people in the professional media bawk at the fans criticism when we call Andre Iguodala overrated because they say since we don't play the game we really don't know how important Andre is to the Sixers. But alas we finally have some insider information proving that its not just the fans that think Iggy has too much hype.

In the most recent issue of Sports Illustated they came out with the yearly confidential NBA players poll where among things like ranking the most likable or hardest worker,underrated player and player you'd like to play with the most the players had a chance to vote on who they felt was the most overrated player in the league. Not surprising former Rocket and current Knicks expiring contract Tracy McGrady was ranked first with over 9% of the polled players agreeing. Some other on the list is gunslinger Gilbert Arenas and coming in third is the Sixers own, useless all-star Andre Iguodala. See the fans do know something. Over 3% of the league feel that Andre has more hype then he deserves and is over payed.
