The Philadelphia 76ers quest to start a winning streak was halted Wednesday night as they fell 101-108 to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron dropped 36 points on Philadelphia including two free-throws with 0:11 seconds left to put the game out of reach. The Sixers have lost 13 of their last 14 games and have only won one game in the month of December.

The Sixers (6-19) were led by Andre Iguodala who finished with 26 points, including an impressive seven-of-seven from the free-throw line. Iguodala was one of five Sixers to finish in double digits.

Even in the loss the Sixers showed signs of improvement. This was the second game in a row the team scored over 100 pts and against the Cavaliers they did win the rebounding battle grabbing 45 boards.

Thaddeus Young was the only player for either team finishing with a double-double. He ended with 15 points and 10 rebounds and went seven-of-15 from the field.

Next up for the Sixers is a trip to Boston to take on the red hot Celtics. The Celtics (20-4) are the top ranked team in the NBA power rankings and are averaging 100.8 points a game.

Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
